Will this one, or the prior VS resource kit ever be available in electronic format? (preferably in a neutral format like PDF or RTF, although even Kindle or MS reader format would work since there's ways to convert those)
Seriously man, I'm tired of buying and lugging around dead-tree editions of reference works. I find them MUCH more usable in electronic format
* easier to search for what I need to find
* typical cheaper than physical versions
* can carry my entire technical reference library around on a USB fob
It's coming to the point where unless I absolutely require a reference to the extent that I can't work without it, I won't buy it in print. I buy all my new reference and technical materials in electronic format, or I don't buy them.
Check out the description on the MS Press site, Amazon, or other favorite book retailer. This RK and the VS RK book come with a CD that contains an electronic version of the book. So, when you buy the book, you get both the hard copy and the electronic one as well.
